Five passengers can fit in a standard version, while seven can fit in an expanded version of the vehicle.
Engine
There is just one 3.5-liter V6 engine in all of the 2024 Lexus RX models, yet there are several different outputs. As of now, the ICE models have 295 horsepower at 4,700 RPM and 268 lb-ft of torque. There is a considerable drop in horsepower and torque in the L models. Despite the hybrid’s three electric motors, only 308 horsepower can be generated. The torque output of an ICE-powered 2024 Lexus RX is projected to be lower than that of a hybrid variant. The RX 450h sports two electric motors to assist in bridging the torque gap to make up for the loss of horsepower.
There is a CVT transmission in the hybrid RX 350, but the normal RX 350 has an eight-speed torque converter. The offered powertrains may best be described as capable. Even though the CVT performs better than expected, the eight-speed gearbox does not like to be pressed into service. Powerful engines that provide a lot of torque at low RPMs are ideal for CVT applications. Indeed, the hybrid powertrain fulfills this promise.
